The Tower built of stone
falls as dragons swirl around
Claws tearing at the fortress
as they hurl it toward the ground.
Overgrown human ego and pride
pale as the sky is filled with storms;
Truth flashes in the light
and changing perspective reveals positive forms.
~ ~ ~
You are forever changed
by events which you have seen.
Frustration seems to reign
as ashes form from your dreams.
Be prepared for tragedy
or discord in family life;
But light shines amid the woes,
truth struggles to dispel the strife.

Author notes
I wrote this series last summer and began posting them. I took the prose version of the Celtic Dragon Tarot interpretations and put it in verse form. I'd also included the illustrations, but was asked to remove it because of the copyright infringement. I'd given full credit to Conway and Hunt and didn't claim them for my own, but there were apparently other legalities.
So...for the legal beagles out there.... These are MY words, although they were inspired by Conway.

The Tower is such an awesome card. It loses perspective when it's read as a single draw. To understand its power, you must perceive all the cards before it and those which follow it as well. Thanks for taking the time to look at it.

I usually end up with this card anytime I've had my cards done.. and yes, tis so true about the strife, but with diligence, the light will shine though. A wonderful job you are doing with this series!!!
