SIMPLE SIDE OF LIFE

Life can be complicated,
it can be hectic and unkind,
take time for relaxation,
it will simplify your mind.

Walk with Mother Nature,
listen for sounds of spring,
feel dew drops on the flowers,
hear owl hoot,  song bird sing.

Take a walk to the playground,
hear the children laugh and play,
sit and remember childhood,
how simple life was in those days.

Throwing frisbee or catching a ball,
swing and try to touch the sky,
when mommy gives them a smile,
there is happiness in their eyes.

A heartfelt glance, a gentle touch,
greet a friend as she walks by,
don't hurry away, talk to her,
it's quite simple, give it a try.

Love should not be complicated,
simple words will make love grow,
each morning and at bedtime,
tell your loved ones, I love you so.

Simple things like grandma's smile,
and her fresh baked apple pie,
simple things make life special,
makes our struggles worth while.
