You painted me a purple sky.
The sun rose over my deep valleys
Of pain, anguish and despair.
I saw a landscape of mountains high,
Violet solid rock and white glacier snow
Over buried feelings of love and hope.
My earth quaked and yelled a silent cry
Colors faded and dripped of blood red
As all my hopes sunk into deeper despair.
I had sold my entire life to buy
A painting on a canvas of deception,
Lies of love masking fear and insecurity.
Now my canvas is barren and dry.
But I will find the old paint I left behind
And will paint a new picture of bright colors.
From my valley I will look to the sky
With renewed sense of hope and love.
As I imitate the Master artist of grace.

WHOO HOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! BOY WAS HANGING ON WORTH EVERY BIT OF THE PAIN FOR THE LOVE I HAVE NOW SOARS SO MUCH HIGHER AND HERE I SAT THINKING I HAD NO HOPE LEFT......GOD IS SO GOOD TO ME. HE REACHED DOWN FROM THE HEAVENS AND GUIDED MY SOUL STRAIT INTO THE ARMS OF THE MAN THAT IS MEANT TO LOVE AND BE LOVED BY ME FOREVER!!!!!!

This is a beautiful tribute and beautiful words to express His saving grace even and especially amidst our most barren, depleted moments. I loved the imagry in this poem and the surging hope and trust displayed therein! Lovely, wonderful write!

A lovely heartfelt poem for Lena who needs lots of hugs at the moment.
Wonderful treasure such as this mean so much to people not just for the moment but also in years to come. It's lovely and the 4th stanza is very powerful.

This is a wonderful write and it is for a wonderful person. Lena took a huge risk to move to California to be with the man that she loves with all her heart. But unfortunately things didn't work out.And my heart goes out to her.It is never easy having to move on from a relationship especially if you still love that person. All I can say now is that I hope that she will be ok and she will get over the pain that she is feeling now.She is such a sweet person and she deserves nothing but happiness. I thought you did a remarkable job with this write. You do have my praise and my applause.~Alexis~
