Little Girl Lost

Am I the only one who's ever sat in a crowded parking lot alone
no where else to be?
no one knows I'm missing
no one caring
as the people rush by me on their way into the  movie
Do they realize how lost the girl is in the little  red car?
how utterly alone as she's pondering death
wondering the best way to take her last breath.
If someone knew would they stop her
I think they'd probably just let her be
like they've done all along
for that someone is me
I know they won't care, I know no one will try
They'll go on with their lives and just let me die.
