Yesterday
as the sun was setting
I watched with closed eyes
and an open heart
and I felt my body relax
as if floating on air
And I thought of you...
Suddenly I realized
that I had been holding my breath
behind a closed smile
and with the beautiful amber sky
glowing in front of my closed eyes
I smiled...
I forgot to breathe
because loving you
has taken my breath away
and once a day
when the sun is fading away
it happens all over again...
one week of forgotten breaths,
a lifetime of air to spare...

I'm not too too happy with this one, but hopefully you will. I hope it's not too short...but I'm going out of town soon, and I needed to enter this before I left since I'll be gone for 9 days...
