One more way to pass the time
Thinking it could pass me by
Ransom breath to buy alone
Living here with your ghost
Humming low
Said I ask the boy
“Why don’t you give me something red?”
In all, you know what it’s for
Solice for the ill at ease
Color for the sunset trees
Fire for sure
I’m gonna make me less
Patterns left out for the bereaved
It’s one indulgence at a time
Another blessing bought by wine
Good for you, you’re head to toe
Breathing here with your ghost
Walking alone
Has been my favorite way
To pass away in the summer sun
And so you know, I hope it rains
Kicking puddles in the street
Waving to the passing fleet
Roll it on home
I’m gonna put me to bed
But, oh, you know I never sleep
Take that picture one more time
Melting every nickle and dime
I could cry, but it would never show
Dreaming here of your ghost
I’m gonna get penance now
I’m gonna go make my peace with God
And of course the madman gets to win today
I’m getting my laurels now
I’m calling in history and debt
And you know they’ll make me a saint for this
Patience while I bide my time
Waiting for my star to shine
Swaying with the seeds we sew
Dancing here with your ghost
I’m living here with your ghost

my apologies for not reading sooner! anyway, I really do like these lyrics! especially the 2nd "stanza" for some reason it just speaks out to me! good luck!
