As the night draws near,
I sit thinking, wondering,
Feeling the love I hold inside.
Dreaming all night,
As the woman of my dreams,
Will soon come and take me away.
The sun rises in the morning,
My sweet darling the first on my mind.
Our love growing and growing,
As we were meant for each other.
I will love her for eternity.
Once again the night draws in,
Dreaming of my beloved, dying inside,
Thinking why must we be so far apart.
One day we will be together forever in life,
But for now I'll stay in the silence of the night,
Crying for the one I love,
The lonely lover that I am
Each passing day.
