“Ages of Impatience”
We live with them now
And have for many years
Most of us know not how
To diminish soulful fears
We’re inclined to hear the word
And grasp the promise now
But the word, like a flitting bird
Will not sit still on a bough
We claim the promise, sans cost
With little thought of our duty
To the Father of the Heavenly Host
Who provides all things of beauty
I fear somewhere along the way
Impatience is a stone in the path
For many who will not obey
And thereby bring on His wrath
I fear most have made their choice
With little consideration of the matter
Or of hearing the Holy Ghost’s voice
The best of which is the latter
Let me examine myself by his word:
“For ye have need of patience, that,
after you have done the will of God,
ye might receive the promise.” (He. 10:36)

I hold God to His promises to me and so far He has yet to fail me! This is so true Jean and I believe you now know first hand. Well done good and faithful servant, well done!

Jean, This much like all of the rest of your poetry is fully of inspiration and wisdom. I hope you are doing well and I wish you all the best. I love reading your work, it's helps me grow as a person to learn from someone as wise and inciteful as yourself!
love always,

Jean , you speak of so much truth in here , and unfortunately the word patience seems to only exist in the dictionnary . Yes , I am guilty of it too, but I do try to catch myself at it , to enjoy the moment rather then impatiently wait for the end ( for there are only so many moments )I wish you all the best,
Reenie

Beautiful, Jean, and right on! I've had to learn to have patience in certain areas of my life, and I do listen to the still, small voice that always directs my paths. I can't go wrong there. You can't either, Jean. As well, He did not give us a spirit of fear . . . Remember? I know it's hard, Jean, though not even I can truly comprehend all the thoughts running through your mind, daily, nightly, and the suffering. You've got more courage than what you think. I know that. I know you! I'm praying for that courage now! I hope the "care-package" will provide some inspiration, maybe give you something on which to cling, something that might sedate your fears, and dry your tears. Hold onto whatever you can, Jean, and please know you are not alone! I left my contact number in the letter, home, and if you feel like calling and need to talk, then please do it. Okay. Trying to set up some better communications with you. You're not alone, sweet man! You have love surrounding you--but, somedays you can't see it or feel it, but that doesn't mean it's not there. We'll walk this, however we must. And, know this very well, I LOVE YOU!--Kel

Brilliant Write
As long as we live and breathe we will always have fear. Many of us go to sleep with fear and wake up to fear. It's just a way of life and something that we may never learn to overcome. My father always said that there is nothing to fear but fear itself. I have to agree with him there but still even he is fearful to the point of panic when he becomes ill. He doesn't say it but I think he fears death. Just imagine a man of eighty-eight years afraid to die. Wow. I really enjoyed your poem Jean as well as many other people have. You do have a certain knack for writing very touching poems and putting so much inspiration into your writes. I truly adore you. Hope you are doing well. I'm feeling much better myself. Love ya always, Avril

The inspiration and beauty of your words I'm sure are viewed favorably by our Lord above. Perhaps it is your calling to influence others with your witness. Great work uncle. I look forward to everything you write. Tommy -
