I did not know I would ever feel this way
missing you until the point of tears
from the moment we parted at the terminal gate
and forever after
my tears have remained hot and stingy over my cheeks
questions upon questions
why could you not take me with you
why could you not stay with me
will I ever see you again
would you call for me to come to you
I do not want to think about it anymore
I miss you so much I am making myself sick
and I am frustrated
trying to function properly without blubbering all over
I loved you and you left me
but not because of a love gone wrong
because you asked me to wait for you
so you could finish school in a country far from mine
and I doubt I can wait
because missing you is becoming my entire life
and I need to work and eat and sleep
without trying to miss you
so hurry back if you intend me to wait

Awwww this is sad/sweet. It can be so hard to be away from someone you care for especially if you really love them. Good luck, thanks for sharing! ~Karli~

That was a tearjerker. It was a very good poem. I like it a lot. I hope you get the one you're waiting for back, if in fact you're the one who's doing the waiting. Keep writing and never let anyone get you down!

We've all been here, though maybe not the same situation. I know I can relate. It's really hard to wait like that, I'm sure you can do it with a little hope
