Frightened Child

Dear frightened child,
I reach out my hand, just to guide you from anger;
Of torment and horror, disappointment and sorrow.
The shadows that chase you, relentless, uncaring;
drive you forward, unseeing into nightmares relentless.
To show you how gentle a real love can be,
Walk with me, walk with me, walk with me.
Love.............
