You’ll never meet another
Who loves quite like my Joe.
It shows in every suave caress
That leaves me all aglow
When my eyes meet his across the room
I know that I’m complete
And just like the first time
My heart still skips a beat
Women often tell me
How they believe they have a chance
For love because they see the way
My Joe and I; together dance.
To him I am an angel
Be he knows that I’m no saint
He has seen me delirious
With passion till I’m faint
He is my love; my heart; my lust
My all and everything
He brought me back from darkness
And taught me how to sing.
I dread even one tomorrow
Without him by my side
And so I bound my soul to his
Forever there to bide
If there is any God
When Joe is called by death
I will not live one moment
I will not breathe one breath.
I could not bear that hollow life
I knew before my Joe
So if God won’t grant us heaven
I’ll follow him below
A love like ours is humbling
A rare and special joy
That nothing can restrain
And nothing can destroy
