yep... Serenem... search haiga on the internet. There is a lot of info on the art form. Originally, they were paintings with the poems (haiku) But, today even photography comes into play creating these little gems.

Perfection, easily
Extremely satisfying and beautiful!
Hmmmmm. A haiga? That's a new one on me, but I love the idea; it seems a natural. I'd love to combine one of my haiku with a painting I've done. Exciting stuff!
Again, beautiful...

lol... yes I did. It's a registered trademark (pending) hehe. This is a modern haiga.... art combined with a kind of haiku. I did shoot the photo as I have with all the rest in my list. Thanks so much for you comments and visit.
Don -
ah! putting the haiku in the picture. how cool! this is something i would enjoy having framed on the wall.
-
nice words. you must have a great zoom on your camera to capture this guy so close!
i like those purple flowers.. i don't remember them smelling all that lovely tho. they make for good contrast with the butterfly, all dark and sharply in focus.

Photoku, LOL you coined this phrase, I assume? This was a very beautiful picture, did you take it? I think the short poem in it is very fitting too. Sunrise represents happiness, and friends provide sunshine in your life. Beautiful work
