The Holiday that I would make
that's if I had the choice,
would celebrate Clay Aiken Day,
and his fantastic voice.
The first thing and most evident,
his voice has perfect tone,
he far out sings that Ruben guy.
the Luther Vandross clone.
And his power it's amazing,
it doesn't match his looks,
before he went on A.I.3,
he was reading college books.
He studied to be a teacher,
for kid's with special needs,
he uses his vocal talent,
to assist him in these deeds.
A singer, mentor, and my idol,
deserves a holiday.
So Mr. President yield a thought,
and do it for good ol' Clay

This is great! It illustrates exactly why this exemplary man should be honored. I'd like to let you know he does have a holiday in his honor, even if it isn't really official. May 16th was designated Clay Aiken Day in Raleigh, and all us Claymates over at the RCA site decided to honor it nationally. Even though every day ought to be Clay Day, it's nice to have a special date to look forward to.

Wonderful Poem
I love Clay Aiken. I am a grand mother and even I could listen to him sing all day. He seems like a real down to earth person. A good role modle for our kids today. Take care, I loved your poem, it was GREAT!
