Surpassing the dreams

I'm falling from the sky
dreams flash before my eyes
some become truth, but most are still lies.
And all I now can think of is why?

Why isn't the dream reality?
and the reality a dream
why does awakening feel so mean?
how come I can't stay in my own reality?

Is there any way?
a way to make dreams come true
Some path to take to reach you?
to surpass the dreams?
a way to stay, or fly away?

I'd rather continue dreaming
than realising the truth
Understand you disappeared from my life
and left for another dream

leaving me guessing for the true meaning...

Author notes

written quite some time ago. don't quite remember when.
it was written in a time I was feeling a bit down in rememberance of a girl I used to love.

Thank you very much for your caring and warm comments!
Been a while since I last received some inspiration, guess my life was kinda dull lately
This poem, was one I found when cleaning up my room, a small crumbled paper with a bunch of words and a small drawing written on it
So I guessed I could post this one as well with the new one
note to self: must check out your latest beauties ^_^
