When I Rule the World

When I rule the world, I'll turn back time and then...
I'll do just what I want to, then do it all again.
When I rule the world, I'll wake without a care.
I'll star in every movie with aristocratic flair.
When I rule the world

They'll all shout, "Hail to the Queen!"
The beautiful and brave
As I ride by on my big white horse to see the world I saved
They'll all shout..
"Hail to the Queen!" and fall down to their knees
Offering me caviar and crackers topped with cheese
They'll clap and cheer, "The Queen is here!"
"Hail to the Queen!" Long live the Queen!"
When I rule the world.

When I run the show, the first thing I will do
Is quit my boring job and tell my boss he's through.
When I rule the world, I will have my say...
I'll date the cutest single guys and party night and day
When I rule the world!
They'll all shout...

"Hail to the Queen! We're so glad that you're here!"
I'll just shake my booty and diamonds will appear.
They'll all shout
"Hail to the Queen, your wish is our command!"
You're by far our favorite woman in the land.
They'll sing and cheer,"The Queen is here!"
"Hail to the Queen! Long live the Queen!"

Well, maybe I won't rule the world, but I have every intention on being President of the United States some day My cowboys and I haha

    lol this really made me laugh, for some reason I could just hear it being sung by a group of drunken revellers all staggering down the street after being thrown out of a bar! Excellento.

    VERY cute write, my friend! Wouldn't we all love to rule the world? Heck...I'd settle for ruling my home.

    Upbeat poems like this leave me in a great mood. Way too much dreary stuff here so I love it when I get to read something that puts a grin on my face. Thank you!

    Wild. I really liked the song lyrics on your author page even more than this poem. I thought it sounded like a man's song so I was surprised to see you identify yourself as a woman. At any rate, you've got some good cowboy sounds here.
