Angelic Encounter

Your radiant cheeky  dimpled smile
alive on your soft perfect ivory skin
with flushes of pink
fused with your blazen fiery red hair
and your wide innocent eyes,
lit up my face
as you bounced across the room
with open arms
greeting me with a hug
but along the way
scattering
your purifying innocent energy
as an embracing force for all to enjoy.

Your images are great, and you've infused the poem with a simular energy to that attributed to the child. This made it a very joyful, powerful poem.

Wonderful! There are some children who radiate that distinctive 'angelic' energy, they really grab your attention. There is no mistaking it when encountered. One always hopes their amazingly loving natures are carefully nurtured and fully appreciated, as all children should be.
Lovely poem, Duana, the feeling vividly conveyed.

Aw, this is sweet. It reminds me when I was little and used to run to my dad when he came home from work. Little kids makes us happy. Great job

    Bravo!

Beautiful. Completely brings back that moment when my boys see that their Daddy is home. Being greeted so enthusiastically, as if you are the most wonderful and perfect human on eath, is priceless. And pure.
