I feel so good today, it's been so long,
life felt right and not all wrong.
A peaceful calm is in my soul,
my broken life is almost whole.
This is the first day of the rest of my life,
I made it through all the abuse and strife.
God is watching, taking it slow,
He knows that I'm ready,he loves me so.
Will I know the moment he enters my heart?
I no longer fight it, I want it to start.
I can almost feel how wonderful it will be.
My dear friend tells me how great when he talks to me.
If it were not for his kindness,and the words he speaks,
I would not want God, I would still be weak.
I cannot write anymore, I cry as I write this poem,
Thank you dear friend, I can't do it alone.

This was the night I was saved last summer. It is the one thing I am most thankful for. Thank you Dear Lord for loving me and changing my life. Thank you Jason (live4eternity) for leading me to the Lord.

Oh yeah, it is also awesom knowing that you just layed ALL your bourdons down, At the moment you give your life to HIM, He takes your bourdons away from you. They were His in the first place, remember, He died for them!!!!! How awesome is that?? You can do it Sandra, I Know It.

Yes, yes, yes... So true, that we can't do it alone! You just made a huge step of being humble, in being still and knowing that God is God. Some poeple feel an awesome explosion of emotion when they are saved. Some feel plain happiness. Some cry. Some laugh. Some smile, well, just about everyone smiles
But.. salvation is a fact, not a feeling! It is just a great feeling for yourself that you can finnaly admitted that you can't do it alone that you need Jesus, like you always have! It's like a light bulb.. when it goes out, you replace it. It didn't "feel" different, yet you Know that it is fixed. Some people experience great things, I know that you will eventually. If not when you say that awesome prayer, it will happen sooner or later. You will feel God's awesome presents. It will happen! The enemy, Satan, wants you to think that if you don't "feel" anything, that you aren't really saved. THAT'S COMPLETELY WRONG! Don't listen to those thoughts Satan tries to implant in you! All you have to do is say the prayer. If you want someone to pray with you when this happens to help you incase you may not feel totaly confident or assured, please call me.
