With folded wings and a silenced beak
No words of love the eagle speaks
When you left all nature knows
A broken heart it has now bestowed
The mockingbirds voice is now so still
It has felt some pain and lost its will,
The soft white dove now just mourns
From a heart with pain and torn
The will weeps with her head bowed low,
Like the brook beside it the tears now flow;
The ocean is vast it's waters so blue
Remind me how i once loved you,
The sun the moon, once shined so bright
But now that your gone they have lost their light,
The kittens sleep without a purr,
Faded love is just now a blur
Nature hears the mornful song
Please come back where you belong

don't touch it!
The silence of the wooded glen,
Speaks of things that might have been,
And like the tree I bend so low,
The weight of loss torments me so.
But loss is part of natures way,
Come back to me again some day.............Just lovely darlin I hope this isn't from real life. best to you. -
