Just For Friends! (Nonet)

by Gregg Rowe
~~~~~
The only time I agreed to this:
Compassion over-rode my heart
Fundraising event this week!
'Cancer,' my friend was told:
Forty bucks a pop
My head, chest and
I shaved my
legs for
this!
Author notes
When I found out one of my girlfriend's was diagnosed with breast cancer, I went down and had my whole body shaved and donated the money for research.  Needless to say, many people wondered if I had crabs when it started to grow back!    Gregg
    Lauging at the last part of paragraph one of your comment...I think that with the amount of hair I have on my legs I would pay them double or triple NOT to do a bikini wax
    at the last part of your author comment. My brother shaved his head for a Fire Fighter's benefit for cancer research a few years ago.
    Short and sweet poem, one of the nobel reasons to shave your legs. I think that they should do one wax strip, then have people pay not to continue.....
    Thank you for entering this, and good luck with the contest
