Friends will come and go in your life
but only a few will capture a special part of your soul.
So, when you're in doubt,never hesitate to seek one out.
When you're in pain,search for one in vain.
Bearing it all,they'll catch you if you start to fall.
So now,when you're blue,you know just what to do.
Friends are never afraid to lend a hand
and
They're never afraid to take a stand.
Allow the hand of friendship to take hold
and
You'll never be left in the cold.
Friends come and go in life...
but only a few capture that special part of your soul...
from there...
the love only continues to grow.

This was written for SwaneeWanda who is going through a rough period in her life.This isn't very poetic but it is heartfelt and comes attached with many prayers to help her in her journey ahead.

Swanee is one of the most encouraging people I know. She reaches out and touches the lives of so many in such a positive way. She is an amazing force here on Allpoetry. I am so glad to see so many reaching back to her now. This is beautiful and from the heart. Good luck in the contest!

She's encouraged me since I met her (not too long ago) and sometimes it's difficult to find the strength to trudge on...but with her kind words ,she makes it much easier.

'Not very poetic', Starla? I BEG TO DIFFER!...it is VERY poetic...(liked the line breaks too! )...it reached in & tugged the old heartstrings & made 'em sing like a Stradivarius! Kelsey, sure glad YOU'RE judging & not me...we'd need a whole lot more points to pass out...you guys..
