Look deep my friend you will see,
what will become my destiny.
There are glimpses of my fears,
they depict my painful years.
Look past the green in my eyes,
see the tears as my love dies.
As my eyes look back at you,
a vision of you, stays here too.
My eyes allow light into my soul,
see all my lifetime goals.
See the sorrow hidden inside,
all the things I chose to hide.
The sun reflects deep into my eyes,
births, deaths, tearful goodbyes.
My soul is nourished by what I see,
my soul controls my destiny.
Look into my eyes past the glare,
be real still, you have to stare.
Deep inside my soul struggles to live,
it have nothing left to give.
I need to see something good and kind,
something to sooth my soul and mind.
You search my eyes like an open book,
my eyes are tired, take your last look.

this is wonderful, and it flows great. its very deep and explains so much. what i got from this is your afraid of the future because all you can see is your past, which held pain and tears. and how your afriad to open up to anyone because you afraid of rejection? sorry if thats wrong, but thats one of the many things i got from this poem. you did a wonderful job. keep up the great work
