My best friend Brad,
he met someone new.
Their first date,
he asked what to do.
Make reservations,
at a country inn.
Have a fireplace,
lights are dim.
Black sports coat,
blue shirt and tie.
Match the color,
of her eyes.
Before you leave,
rub on some Musk.
Pick her up,
just around dusk.
A small bouquet,
a smile from you.
Open her door,
a glance or two.
Order her dinner,
have white wine.
Slow dance or two,
look for a sign.
Does she like you,
maybe she cares.
Could there be,
romance in the air?
The dinner's over,
it's time to go.
Tickets are for,
a Broadway show.
Hold her hand,
till it's through.
If she squeezes,
she likes you.
The show is over,
stop for a drink.
You're both nervous,
what does she think?
Play romantic music,
on the car stereo.
On the drive home,
take it slow.
Tell her you had,
a wonderful date.
It's time to go,
it's very late.
Pull her close,
kiss her goodnight
Feels so good,
It feels so right.
Ask for another date.
Tomorrow's not too soon.
We'll walk on the beach.
Pick you up at noon.
One more tender kiss,
now it's time to go.
What is this feeling?
Tomorrow you will know.
