Raining In Sydney

Missing image
Running out in the rain, oh, dancing for joy
All our prayers have finally been answered.
I do know we need a lot more yet to matter
Not looking a gift horse in the mouth though,
It needs to fall in the catchment area to help
Nourish our land, to help us to cope with the
Growing  population, that have settled here.

I am overjoyed, I sing and dance in the rain
Neighbours, they all think I have gone crazy.

So much rain is needed, not just here though
You don’t appreciate something until it’s gone.
Drench our beautiful land with life giving rain
Nurse it back to green grass and fields again.
Everywhere reports come in from other states
Yes!! it’s raining!! now isn’t that grand to hear!

When you are done with the rain, can you send it over here? Could use some of that our way as well LOL A very well done and enjoyable read as always hun. I'm sorry it takes me a bit to venture you way. I've been not on as often as I'd like to the last couple months. But I'm working on it Hugs and Blessings to you always, Gypsy

First let me say, I love, love, love the dancing kitties! Then let me say, Thank God for the rain you needed. I know many of you were praying for rain, and look at what you got! Lastly, the acrostic is splendid. I smiled through the whole poem. Happy for you and yours!

    I love you Sister

    I'm seeing green!

yes, we can do a rain dance together as we need a lot more, and it's still raining acrostics are learnt by trial and error, it took me awhile for me to master it, just keep trying sweetie and instead of throwing them out, work on it or let me have a look, we can fix it between us~Joan

    loved it!

I really liked this Joan. I get aggravated sometimes when it rains too much but you are right we do need the rain for several reasons. And not to mention how great it feels to walk in it in the summertime. I just love the little animation you have going here...really cute. Very nicely done as always Joan. ~~Alexis
