What is it you need so bad?
A comfort blanket or something?
Honestly Laura, stop holding on so tight
You're gonna push me away
Just like you did everyone else
I need space to breath
Don't you see that?
I give you hints, show you signs
But still you ignore everything
You even ignore me when I need you
It just depends on your mood
I have to be the same as you
Same moods and feelings
You won't allow for differences
Yet you contradict yourself as well
Start yelling when I become you
Why? What is it? Do you even know yourself?
That's just it, you don't *know* yourself
I suggest you *get* to know yourself
Cos if you don't, you can't get to know me

Thanx for yer comment! Re-reading this, I realise how much I've changed. I now know myself, and as a result, I've managed to still be in a successful relationship for over a year.

    So WELL WRITTEN

I am impressed by the level of life understanding in this poem. There is only one way to be able to share yourself with another human being. Thst is if you KNOW exactly who you are. laura still needs to find herself before she can find love

You say that you are constantly needing reassurance, needing people to be the same as you. But it seems that no matter what people do, you become angry with them. You don't like differences, but you don't even know yourself, so you end up pushing people away. Thanks for entering.
