I Won't Forget You

What can I say?
You're not here.
No one to Love.
No one to care for.
what did you go?
The pain is still here.
It won't leave me.
Did you think
I'd just forget you?
I can't!
I'm sorry to say.
Tears are rolling down on my face.
I look for you,
but you're not here.
Why did you go?
Was it something I said?
Or was it something I did?
I'll make it up,
If you'll just come back.
But that's just a dream.
You're gone.
But I won't forget you.

Though I know you wrote this piece some time ago, the reader can still see the intensity of pain and longing within the prose. Hope by now, you are over her. If not, maybe you can find some comfort in my piece: http://allpoetry.com/poem/720302
