Extravagant

Extravagant, the love of our Creator
Unconditional, it rolls on
Shaping all that breathes in His likeness
And to fulfil His will, we are called upon

Extravagant, the love of our Savior
Unbinding us from our chains of sin
Obedient to the death of crucifixion
Praise Him all us humans and seraphim

This poem is based on the lyrics to “Your Love is Extravagant”, by Casting Crowns.  I love the message this song delivers.  God bless!

    As Jesus said, "There is no love greater than that a man lay down his life for another." And, this He did for all who are willing to believe in Him and do His Father's will. This poem accurate reflects just how extravagant is Christ's love for His chosen.
