She Asks, He Replies
She asks....
Will you be here tonight as I struggle long against mine enemy?
Will you be here to hold me softly but boldly...to caress and carefully mold me?
Will you calm my writhing, my aching, my desiring?
My flesh afire, my mind surging sensual visuals that are only of you.
Can you calm my fears, wipe away my tears? Can you sear my heart anew? For as you know it's been torn in two.
My soul with yours...my ultimate goal...for you are the shadow I seek to stride alongside me.
He replies.....
I am here tonight, a part of your soul you see, holding and caressing you, molding your inner being, touching you so softly with a bold yet gentle hand.
I am with you in every struggle....for with you I stand.
I cannot calm your writhing, your aching or your desiring....
But, with it, I can bring to it a new fuel and set your soul afire, your flesh with passion, your mind melted with my soul's caresses as I gentle wipe away all your tears and kiss away your fears....your soul now with mine...your heart begins anew....the time for solitude has ended my love...one soul wrought from two.
Author notes
This isn't a trditional poem by any means...more or less random thoughts thrown together to create something wonderous...it's one of those "the things I admire most in a man" type things.Enough said. Please comment as you see fit. Thanks
