Today I'm throwing rocks around
rearranging things to suit my mood
on a place in 3 yrs I'll probably never see again
although this will always be in my memories
the sandstone pillars rise in its Majesty
the quiet river finds a way to soothe my soul
I can see into its green pools
which ripple into my yesterdays
i didn't realise it at the time
but I will miss this place
here I find solitude
that somehow fits me
I look into the horizon
watching an eagle enjoying his freedom
where i can only imagine
the peace that he feels
but change must take place
and as my life does
maybe I'll be lucky
to find another that is just as beautiful.

that was a beautiful piece. Greatly descriptive, and a delight to read. sometimes moving on is the hardest thing, but in the end it paves a solid road. Yea..anyway..i loved the imagery and how peaceful it was. Great job.

Very sad yet very hopeful at the end. And yes I have to agree with 'red' that your descriptions were very nice and and vivid. Nice choice of words and it flows wonderfully. Good work on this
