Those heavy, humid summer nights
The murky waves of sweet air
Surreal musical drops of rain
Falling
Living in that split second
Before they meet the ground
Shattering like a fragile glass
Warm pink and purple hues
A painting mellowing out the skies
Humming softly through the avid windows
Grasping for more than can fit
In a harsh square frame
The creaking wooden floors
Curling blankets
Sitting coldly
Picking up the warm bodies
And lifting them off the ground
Wrapping around the life of solidity
The gritty words left outside
Upon the hard sidewalk
The scent of fermented wine
Tingling fingertips
Slipping slowly through damp hair
Flicking away the pangs of sadness
Innocent pink lips
Soft and smooth
The scent of skin and sweat
Entertwined and holding hands
Gently enveloped in a silken cucoon
An array of impassioned tinges
Running across harmoniously
On the whisps of smooth skin
Graspingly lapping up every bit of atmosphere
In that genuine moment
Bare emotions, feelings, words, and colors
Cursively swirling around
Every substance to be found in the room
The hopes and dreams, the love and laughter
Overflowing, magically escalating
To a whole different reality
An unsimilar world
Yet so intercomparable
To every seemingly
Irrealizable daydream
