How long has this bread been sitting here?
It's a shame that it was wasted
The mauld and germs feasting upon it
People would have loved
how it could have tasted.
Placed on a computer desk
in the depth of the shadows
treated with neglect
wouldn't you have woes?
Taken for granted and not appreciated
worthless it feels
flies come to regurgitate it
it could have been used
imagine the meals.
cheese on toast,
beans on toast,
a sandwhich,
maybe toasted.
Now imagine your the bread
even better imagine your going to be dead
if you don't get some bread
imagine how many tears you'd shed
Imagine if you were a mother
not being able to feed your daughter
not having all the food on tap
6 million pigs they do not send to slaughter!
now you can take this however you like
as long as you appreciate, do what you like.

hee hee, bread inspired me! never thought that could happen. this was a bit of an experiment to see what could be produced. now i would start a contest to write a poem about something that is on your computer desk, but i really don't know how. i wouldn't mind someone producing that compotition, go ahead if you think its a good idea.

dont cry over bread that has molded
cry becuase it was, for god knows what reason, put on your computer desk.
cry becuase the bread will feed the mice and inturn thier fleas

lmao youre right..that would be a different kind of contest...i cant start one up like that (dont have enough points yet) but if someone would..i do believe i might enter that one lmao..i enjoyed your poem, hard to believe what kind of things might inspire a person huh? lol..bet you never thought bread would be the thing..altho ive had some pretty odd things inspire me too..so i guess it does happen..great job, and lets hope someone picks up your idea and starts that contest
