My brother is a total idiot --
he can't keep himself in order.
He talks to the TV, dreams crazy things
and wants to be a pro-boarder.
My sister is an airhead,
she can't keep her mouth shut.
Sometimes she's so very stupid
I think her brain is a peanut!
My baby brother, well he's
quite a handful. Spills galore --
and where's his diaper? --
with toys hiding the floor.
My mother's almost Martha Stuart,
or so she likes to tell herself.
My father is obsessed with golf
and cheated for every trophy on the shelf.
Despite all their imperfections and faults
they're still my relatives, my family.
They can be annoying, I'll say it --
but to me it's more than just "relativity."

Thanks for the comment. The rest of the entries were so much better than mine, though!

Hehe, the title reminds me of the Brady Bunch. When you talk about your brother and say “He talks to the TV, dreams crazy things” it reminds me a lot of my best friend, Brit. Her screen name on AllPoetry is Lofe. She’s a darling. Everyone in my family considers her part of the family. I liked how you talked about your baby brother diaper hiding on the floor with toys. It sounds like a true family. When you talked about your Mother thinking she was Martha Stuart, I laughed like crazy. It was so typical of the everyday family. I loved how you put this piece together, making it seem like you were just making fun of all your family members and then twisting it by saying how they’re annoying, yet you wouldn’t have it any other way. Thank you for entering my contest.
Always,
Jessica
