I remember all the special things,
Good and bad times we shared.
Everything was the perfect way,
Everything I did, you cared.
But when the accident happened,
Sorry, was all I could say.
How little I did really know,
It was close to your last day.
They took you into hospital,
Still, you kept your brave face.
We were hoping you’d be out soon,
But that really wasn’t the case.
On the last night I saw you,
Something told me “say goodbye”.
But instead, I just ignored it,
Still now I can’t tell you why.
In the middle of the night, I heard,
It made me break down and cry.
If only I’d listened to my heart,
You weren't even ready to die.
It was your time I know that now,
Angels took you from us that night.
They better be taking care of you,
Just let me know you’re all right.
What I have now are memories,
After dark I look up to the sky.
You’ll always be the brightest star,
Watching my life pass me by.
One day I will see you again,
At the end of my very last day.
You will be there to guide me,
To heaven you’ll show me the way.

Lifes pain
Especially when so younng. But angels are there waiting & watching. Stil tis sad to lose loved ones at any age. That I do know. Wonderful emotion here

Beautiful. My heart to yours. I don't know who you lost but those who have grieved the loss of a loved one truly knows how deep grief really goes. Others can only imagine.

Your rhymes are perfect and it flows nicely. The only thing I'd change is add commas and periods, but that's just me. Nice work and good luck.
