Tell me
Tell me
Tell me this
Am I like a river always looking to connect?
A teardrop shed from deep within
Leaves a trail across my earthly skin
As a raindrop falls through the atmosphere
So like the river, it has to start from somewhere
Tell me
Tell me
Tell me this
Am I like the blind man, do I feel what I see?
And with that touch, is the awareness of me
With this consciousness no longer are we numb
We sense the mystery from hence we have come
Tell me
Tell me
Tell me this
When I breathe, do I take it all in?
Like a child who learns from his environment
Teach him truth to make good judgements
Remember, what’s inside, is all around
So, like the cosmic ring, we are all bound

I HAVE to say that I absolutely LOVED the image of a river searching image at the beginning, it's beautiful. It made me think of when raindrops are running down a window pane and they melt together and twist and change course. Lovely! I liked it so much that I even turned off Space Dementia by Muse, which I was listening to, which I love, to focus on your wonderful poem. Nice one!
