Ma'atkara's Lamp

Within each creature gleams a sacred light,
Maatkara shows us how to make it shine;
she tells of radiance sublimely bright
in truthful compositions, spare and fine.

She places but a few words in a line,
and each one beams, as if a burning flame
could reach to touch the heart, and even mine
was kindled when I to her pages came.

Ma'at is truth and justice in a name,
and Ka the soul of Ra that awesome might
and light of One. Resisting any fame,
she stands for what is true in loving sight.

Come to her light and with her friends you'll find
the clearest vision and the sharpest mind.

Thanks PlayfulPassion, and I do recommend Maatkara's work, especially her haiku and esoteric works. She gets to the point with great accuracy.

Who sees as you one within the divine minds eye
Light the candle, feel your love
    Place it in your window
    Far above the world light

Shine and send to my very soul
    What you already know
The spirit of a thousand dances.

Thanks Liz, for the kind comment. It's true that in a short time, I have collected many trophies. Still, it all depends on the judge. Have a great day!

Thank you Duana! It is a pleasure to give honour where it is due, and a double pleasure to receive praise for doing it!

There is no greater honour or accolade than that received from those one most admires. Thanks again M
