Happy 3rd Birthday

   Happy 3rd Birthday Bailey

Bailey, Bailey now you are three,
Here are some things that you mean to me:

You bring laughter and love
Sadness and pain,
From below and above
Sometimes, over and again, but

The day you were born
My special grandson – the first.
Emotions and happiness
I was surely fit to burst.

The first year was special,
Now you were walking
In and out of everywhere
And getting to grips with talking

The second was amazing
You had reached number two,
And over that time
You’d learnt so much to do.

The third was tremendous
A party with flair
In and out the house and
Then up and down the stairs

With everyone cleared up
And they all leave by the door
You scream out “goodbye”,
And we now wait ‘til your four!

This was an adorable poem. I could picture the whole thing even though there was description of the little boy. Well done and thank you so much for entering my contest.
    Always,
    Jessica

Aww, this is a very cute poem. Best of health and luck to all of your family, and please keep writing. I hope I love my grandchildren when I have them, as much as you love yours. ^.^

Aww, that's so sweet. I've never heard Bailey for a male but that's cute I like how you started it out, and your rhyming was great. Good luck.

    excellent

i think this is a great poem - i write about my five year old daughter all the time... i'm sure this means alot to you and thats who you should write for. i think it's great any you would be doing yourself a diservice by deleting this lyrical picture you've created
