Wandering In Awe:
Red squirrels in old Scots pines,
Rutting deer on the mountains,
Fresh running natural spring waters,
Feeding, Mother Natures fountains.
Eagles soaring in a clear blue sky,
Salmon leaping in fast flowing rivers,
Beasts grazing in the grassy glens,
Aye Scotland has so much, to give us.
Scotland’s hills of purple, green and brown,
Of bracken, gorse and heather,
An open loch stretching down,
Looks good to me, in any weather.
