Nobody on the road
Nobody in the bars
it's three AM
nobody's in their cars
empty streets, empty town
I'm sitting here alone
watching late night movies on
those cheap tapes that I own
but...
I can see that
these B movies are the pits
all made in black and white and
starring has-been half-wits
I can tell you
these old movies are the bomb
but so many of them are
dumber than dumb
Never will forget this night
Wonder why I'm not asleep
this insomnia's driving me crazy
and ED WOOD gives me the creeps.
now I don't understand
what happens in this flick
but I'm going to watch it again
even though I'm getting sick
but...
I can see now
these B-movies are a joke
I wonder what the director
used to shoot or smoke
I can tell you
there is no judging right or wrong
'cause these B-Movies are
dumber than dumb
just a few seconds ago
I saw a DEADHEAD sticker on a UFO
a little voice inside my head
saying "please no more, baby, please no more!"
thought I knew what bad was
what did I know?
These movies hit the bottom
I should just let them go
but...
I can see now
These B-movies are the worst
they got me laughing so hard
i think my sides will burst
I can tell you
these B-movies are the scum
those fake effects are
dumber than dumb
I can see now
these B-movies are the shits
with the cardboard sets and
plastic model spaceships
I can tell you
I won't be watching very long
because these B-movies are
dumber than dumb

Gotta love this one. Boys of Summer was a great song, yet this was wonderful too! I love parodies, sad to say many I have found are not even close to matching the skill of the original. You totally nailed it though, the rhythm and everything was great. Now if only this could become famous...

Personally, I like b-movies. At least the people who act poorly in those movies get paid what they deserve, opposed to some hit movies which will remain nameless. So as a fan of Don Henley and b-movies, two thumbs up.

The truth is..I agree with you. I actually like to watch B-Movies because they are so silly they are hilarious, and ED WOOD is actually one of my favorites! I just said that to make it work in a song parody, but the real truth is...I LOVE B-movies
