Do you know how much it hurts to be scared of you?

Do you know how much it hurts?
How much pain you cause?
Do you still love me like I love you?
Whatever it is you do
But I cannot help
When you scream and shout
It’s beyond mucking about
It hurts to say I’m scared
It’s a secret I’ve never shared
But I’m terrified
Is it all a matter of pride?
Has your heart really died?
You make me cry time and time after time
Then mumble an apology and accept everything to be fine
I want to fly away float like a kite
You know it’s not right
You really don’t know how much you have hurt me
What will it take for you to see

This is an excellent poem! It says what so many people would like to say but can't or just don't know how. Keep writing!
