A timeless legend echoes throughout the kingdom
Whispers of a constantly evolving fable
Widely sung eulogies on a courageous lad
Who braved the very depths of sprawling labyrinths
Ensuring that darkness would never reign over;
That he again could embrace his beloved
Hyrule has assumed many eclectic shapes and forms
But the hero’s form always remains consistent;
Armed with a sword and shield, draped in a green cloak:
Zelda, who has transmigrated many lifetimes
Remains the beautiful princess in distress
Thus the elements form and reform into legend
When shadow and darkness and evil reigns
The hero always appears, driving it away;
Battling legions of beasts and monsters
Rescuing from their designs the princess Zelda
Whose mystic properties instill holy courage
The prevailing theme of the Norse myths

I really enjoyed this poem. It brought me back to my teenage years, when I played the original Zelda, and YES I am that old, lol. I still have my very old, original Nintendo around here some where.. all of a sudden gets the urge to dust off that controler, and build up a calous on her thumb. My thumbs use to get so sore from playing for hours, lol.
