Musings without the system

no rules
no written consequences
no innocence

everything left to fate
all fend for self
can't depend on strangers
they may betray you

the strong may rise
the weak fall

and so we revert back to days of old
when no justice was met
unless one took it as their prerogative

but the evils of politics is gone
no more world-wide government threat
no MAN to fight against

so...
who came up with this idea again?

Pretty straight forward I'd say. I also enjoyed the double sidedness of this poem, you do have both points of view in there. The last line poses an interrogation which leaves us with your poem in mind. Very good! and you have nothing to be intimidated about .
