I'm a good boy.
Dear Santa,
I bring my Mom joy.
Dear Santa,
I don't ask for much
Dear Santa,
Many hearts I do touch.
Dear Santa,
I love you dearly.
Dear Santa,
I hope I say this clearly.
Dear Santa,
I am excited about your visit.
Dear Santa,
I'll be in bed, I will miss it.
Dear Santa,
I know that you are real.
Dear Santa,
I love the way Christmas makes me feel.
Dear Santa,
I will leave cookies just for you.
Dear Santa,
Is it okay if I eat one or two?
~Love Tyler~
Author notes
I hope you like this. I wrote it when I was in kindergarten, I'm in second grade now.
It is my favorite because I don't really write anymore and I love Santa!

Thank you for saying that to my boy, he's even smarter as a second grader! LOL Thanks again.
-
Aww, really charming
You were an intelligent kindergartener!
Good luck, in contest! -
That was very cute and sweet. And you were only five when you wrote this?! I could barely make a decent sentence at five, forget poetry! Very well done! You have a bright future in writing. I hope you continue writing more poetry.

Wow, I've read this before but it is still very good. I bet you're a good little boy for your mommy. It's great that you are writing at such a young age and have sucha passion for it, btw, what do you want for Christmas? Did you tell Santa yet?
-
Actually you are right. He's six now. Was five when he wrote this. This is his mother speaking so I'm pretty sure I am correct.
-
This is such a good poem but I find it hard to believe that your 5. Anyways wonderful poem

I loved this! It was so good. My daughter wrote a santa poem too
More like a story but it made me cry because she wanted santa to be her daddy since her daddy never sees her or calls her. It was sad, I liked the repetition in this too, the "dear Santa's" Cool! Good luck in the contest.
-
Tyler! You are an excellent rhyming poet, great job here. I know you are a "good boy". Stay that way, it surely helps Mommy when you are good. Santa knows, and he will bring you all that you want, this year too!
-
Wow, this is SO awesome, VERY cute. Don't let "lilgothgirl" get you down, the only reason she is saying that is because she obviously never got the gifts, she got the coal. Anyways, this is an excelent write, and I love it. Keep writing and stay happy.

A very good write with your mom's help or not
I remember I used to eat a couple of Santa's cookies, he either never noticed or didn't mind because I still got presents hehe.

Awesome!
Very nice write Tyler! I love it when Santa comes to see me too, despite how ignorant 'lil goth girl' is, she can miss out on the gifts, hmm? I love this write, I'm sure this year, and many years to follow, Santa will bring tons of joy to you and your family. -
This is really great Tyler! Don't stop writing! Keep it up! Keep dreaming in ink.

OHH! I love kids so much, this is so amazingly sweet and precious, I miss being a kid. I'm glad you're writing so young, that's really wonderful. I always encourage kids who write, because it really shows as they get older. --And to lil goth girl- I hope you never have kids, seriously.
-
little brother this is so cute!your only 5 yrs old, what a great job ,you keep it up!you will be a great poet!
-
This is precious. It is sweet and makes me nostalgic of childhood.I also like the way Christmas makes me feel: happy, kind, and loving. I think everyone has the secret mentality of Santa coming and eating cookies and milk for his midnight snack and we all want to know Dear Santa,
Is it okay if I eat one or two? -
awwwwwwwwwww
You are precious. This poem is precious. You are going on my favorites for a poem like this. beautiful! wonderful. A thousane applauses to you!!
-
I can't believe you said that to my son. How ignorant of you. Nice of you to try and make a six year old boy sad. Must make you feel better in your sick sad little world. I personally, don't need Santa to make my parenting skills better. I can always compare the outcome of my children to people like you and feel that I have done a fine job of raising my son. Maybe that's the case for your parents but it's not here. I don't care if it was a joke. It's not funny that you are so cruel.
-
santa is not real, its just something to make your parents feel good about their parenting skills lol ha ha
-
very good poem to Santa. i hope he brought you lots of
good stuff. my mom always emails Santa my list so
it doesn't get lost in the mail. good write. Gage -
I love this, I love you! You are so talented.
