Beholder

Vibrant explosions of light
as the universe expands
in a mushroom cloud
and then,
life begins fresh
recreation before my eyes
as the world unfolds
in majestic fractal bloom
inside a bubble of silent intensity
I behold all that is to see
as all moments melt together
and I witness life from
conception,
to the end of eternity.

Author notes

Imagine being one with the universe, and witnessing all moments simultaneously.

I wrote this while experiencing the wonders of psilocybe cubensis.

your imagery is really good, and the words that you use are so poetic and beautiful... 'mushroom cloud'....those two words put so many images in my mind... drug use: shrooms and smoke from crack or marijuana or whatever.... dark clouds: it just described a shape of a sort of scary cloud maybe while raining.... Apocolypse: explosions of Bombs causing mushroom shaped smoke....see those two words got me thinking that much...this was a really good poem just like your other...ur a very artistic writer...great job
    Much love and respect

What a poetic way to describe genesis from gods point of veiw.. and even if you did'nt mean for it.. thats pretty much the easiest way to see it.. and its quite beautiful, but thats a standard for your work it seems.

This reminds me of the time that I set outside, and stared up to the clouds mesmerize by the stars shooting in the horizion in the distant. Something like what you wrote came to my mind as my world went upside down to me to change how I view everything by it. Sorry, I ramble. I really like this. You are a really talented individual.
