A Bond Forever

I reached on high
And drew to me nigh
A diamond in the sky.

As hopeless as it seemed,
Who'd have dreamed
What the fates had schemed.

How did I find you?
My fresh morning dew
Who has given me life anew.

Our love will survive the wind, the rain and the fire.
Even when anger will not rise any higher
It will not squelch our passion and desire.

Our love for each other will never end
Our pain and tears will mend,
Though the bow may bend,

It shall never break.
Our love, we will not forsake.
It is forever sealed in this bond we make.

This was a good entry, and good luck in this contest. My favorite line out of all of it was "Our love, we will not forsake.
It is forever sealed in this bond we make"

Wow I love that you say it is a bond. Great job dearie.
