sits peacefully in The Garden of Renewals.
Though dressed in cloth of common sense,
his royalty is displayed by a crown of jewels.
He watches children and baby dragons at play.
He knows of their power and magical endeavor.
His companion dragon lies at his side
confident this leader is just and clever.

For your life to be in a smoother state,
cultivate leadership and stability.
You may progress to a place of power
but watch out for hostility.
Control is an issue – to rule or be ruled.
There’s power at your hand.
As God influences enter your life,
be wary of what you demand.

Author notes
I wrote this series last summer and began posting them. I took the prose version of the Celtic Dragon Tarot interpretations and put it in verse form. I'd also included the illustrations, but was asked to remove it because of the copyright infringement. I'd given full credit to Conway and Hunt and didn't claim them for my own, but there were apparently other legalities.
So...for the legal beagles out there.... These are MY words, although they were inspired by Conway.
more to come....

Really enjoying this series of poems. I especially like the last stanza in this one! Thanks for the wisdom you are sharing.

Thanks Damon for your comments - as far as your question about "God" or "Godly," I had to think about it. In normal usage, I believe you would be right about "Godly" but when used with the Emperor, these are "God" influences rather than "Goddess" influences, so I'm going to leave it as is. ...I do so love these cards. With every day, my understanding of them increases and their meanings grow deeper. Their positions make more sense and my interpretations become more intuitive. It has been a long process, but well worth my efforts and I'm looking forward to a greater understanding of them later on.
Thanks so much, my friend, for your continued efforts to read my work.

Good job M, Check the next to last line--should God be Godly? I enjoyed the read very much.
