2 mirrors 2 worlds

2 mirrors, 2 worlds

the greatest price to pay is ignorance
the greatest tragedy is defiance
but even stronger sorrow is derived
from intolerance, unacceptance and racism

If I can accept  your differences
why can't you accept mine?

We all have different levels or degrees of tolerance. What I may tolerate in you, another my not be able to accept. There will be differences between us always, otherwise it would be a rather monotonous world. A short poem, but it offers much to consider...

Oh yeah, I hear ya, gurl! lol I hear ya! I think that a lot was said here in such a short time...something deep yet not preachy...very nice balance you got there!

I liked this. It was to the point and casual in your approach to a rather lofty subject. Not a whole lot I can say about this really. It was good.

I liked this poem, I think about the last 2 lines of your poem often. Why is it so hard for so many to be tolerant....make love not war, peace
