0-The Fool

A dreamer dressed in innocence,
a seeker of more spiritual goals,
The fool is led by tiny dragons
into mystical worlds and magical folds.

Half-hidden in the forest glen
    the dragons watch and wait
To see which path the fool will choose
and trust the spirals to guide his fate.
~ ~ ~
New opportunities await you
    completely off your beaten path.
Your friends and family doubt your choices;
you fear that you’ll incur their wrath.
But something drives your inner forces
    toward hidden realms to understand
The magical knowledge waits before you
as direction change is at your hand.

Author notes

I wrote this series last summer and began posting them. I took the prose version of the Celtic Dragon Tarot interpretations and put it in verse form. I'd also included the illustrations, but was asked to remove it because of the copyright infringement. I'd given full credit to Conway and Hunt and didn't claim them for my own, but there were apparently other legalities.
So...for the legal beagles out there.... These are MY words, although they were inspired by Conway.

My oh My ... How we can all relate to "The Fool". ...
A splendid explanation in verse as to the card, m.
I do not know how you could breach copyright with the cards.
Tarot cards are as old as time. It would be like putting a copyright on the Bible!
    Take every care, m

An absolutely splendid write!! Will you be writing more on the tarot?? I found this to be absolutely fascinating!! There was a time I was trying to study the tarot. Now if you could just write out each and every card like this (LOL...yes, I'm aware of how many cards there are LOL), then maybe I'd understand them better!!
    BRILLIANTLY done!!

Molassis...Thank you for commenting. Actually, it isn't directed at anyone, but the first in a series followed by 21 more.

    Yes... it's very FOOLISH

    Oh the puns...

    On to the comment
Yeah... it is pretty interesting, concidering the fact that most Fools are pretty boring. Lol, no wonder no one listens to me!
Anyways, I really like the way you kinda pointed the finger at the fool guy. You know, for being a fool. I guess. Well, I wasn't disappointed really. I knew what this poem was gonna be like pretty much when I saw my name in the featured box. Haha,
    Good job!

Well this is intersting... it's almost like you are speaking to one individual, giving them advice. It's extremely well written and well thought out and I like it very much. God bless. ~Melissa

Thank you Damon...I haven't been on much for a long time. I've played today and realized how much I've missed the company of AP poets I've grown to know here.
