Untitled

Caught between what they want and who you are,
The words they say cut so deep it leaves a scar.
They'll never know how much it hurts you,
They'll never have a clue.
It's like the razor to your skin,
It's the knife to your back.
So many lies told over and over again,
You seem to lose track.
They don't know the real you but
They judge you like they do.
Labeling you a freak, a bitch, or a slut.
Not even caring if any of the rumors are true.
It's another cut into your heart, into your soul.
But it's just one more thing they'll never know

Just felt like writing about some people I've encountered. And some that I'm sure you've encountered too. Let me know what you think about it. DON'T HOLD BACK!!!

    nicely written, the message is loud and clear, people that pass judgement so freely shouldn't be allowed to open their mouths until they've judged themselves first. well done

    passing judgements is so wrong... i hate it when people feel they are better than anyone else... this was an awesome message and i loved it entirely nicely penned and thanks for sharing !!

    This sounds a lot like the people in my life, who infect others with harsh words and indifferent feelings. I cried after reading this poem. It's truly saddening to me how some people will trample over your heart and seemingly not give a damn about it. That kind of mistreatment makes me sick to my stomach. Anyway, I really like this piece; very truthful and relatable. I think everyone has encountered a person such as this at least once in their lives.
