Nothing Left to Feel
Spirits and Charms upon this lonely Earth
Moon rises; holding onto the tide
Bathed in her glittering moonbeams burn
Pale, lucid skin is drowning by her light
Frightened; life without bliss isn’t right
Living inside love’s darkest shadow
Why’d you draw her into this place?
Silvery streams bathe desires flow
Taunting without thought; it’s all a chase
Never the sunshine upon her face
As fear overwhelms tonight’s thick air
Strength becomes a weeping willow tree
Imagination treads secret lairs
The daylight scorches; more than skin-deep
Begging through tears of dew; Rest in Peace
What’s left upon the lips of dark plum?
Lost inside pain; kissed with death’s sweet end
Completely at ease; forever numb
Death whispers to no longer pretend
These are the words that she left to send

Very beautiful, even though a little sad! You're VERY talented! Lovely write!

Well written poignant piece. Good imagery and flow.

I must agree with Dark Iris, very depressing and sad. Hope this is just a writing and not how you reslly feel. Well done. Curious rhyme scheme, but then I am open to all styles and appreciate different ways. As far as leaving this earth is concerned, who knows, maybe we'll find a better place. Even the Holy Bible says we should rejoice when someone dies. Thanks for sharing a bit of yourself.

bravo-very nice write! very sad and depressing though. but i found that writing that's filled with pain is usually the best type of writing. well keep it up!

Honesty,
Are you alright? This is so deeply moving, yet so very sad. I hope all is well. I know sometimes we get that down trodden feeling. It is good to write it out. I pray it is helpful to have written this. Just hold on and look up! God is still here and working in our lives even in times of hurt and pain!
Much Love,
Renee
