Note to readers: If given permission, the chorus for my song would be the chorus, "In His Time", with a few variations here and there.
VERSE ONE:
Our God knew... it was you who'd be the one
He had a plan... long before "we" had begun
He could see...
although His ways to me weren't clear
that He was going to bring us here
In His time...
When we met... we had a friendship from the start
But love grew... and started filling up my heart
And in time...
all by God's sovereignty and grace
He now has brought us to this place

VERSE TWO:
Here we stand... as we take this sacred vow
Hand in hand... and our future's starting now

as we are trusting in the Lord
and as we're guided by His Word

I don't have legal permission to use the chorus as of yet. I may change it. But the message is definitely needed, and I've already had opportunities to sing it! God is good!

I actually got to sing this at my friend's wedding- she married a national from China!
I still don't actually have permission to use the chorus for my song (, which IS an actual chorus on its own!), but I'm not getting rid of the song just because of that!
I do hope to sing it in my own wedding someday... but that's all up to God.

Oh my gosh that is wonderful. If I knew the tune and maybe if you have a CD out by the time I find that special someone I'd use it. But in any case great work. Actually, I have the privilege of SINGING it in one of my best friend's weddings on the 19th! My music pastor helped me get the melody down on paper, as well as figure out some of the chording to it- I'm so excited!
