Though it seems that all is against us,
That it's evil we take from His hand,
We forget that God has a purpose
For every path He has planned.
Though we worry, complain, and grow bitter,
And don't praise and rejoice as we should,
We forget that He uses the bad things sometimes
So He later can work things for good.
We can trust in the good of God's reason,
And have faith that it's all for our best;
Just grab hold of His Word with His promises
To help you through each trial and test.
And when it shall come to pass,
God's reason we shall finally see,
We'll know for a truth most certain-
It's because He loves you and me.

Thank you, though I must admit that it's easier to write than to live!

Beautiful write.I really liked this well written poem

Very true. This poem reminds me of my favorite verse. Rom 8:28 "And we know that all things work together32 for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose."

Not all of my poems are the "sweet" kind, but I can promise that there are some somewhat deep thoughts behind. I'd really like you to read more- I think my two best ones are "My Reflection" and "My Ally, My Enemy", but I like them all the same. Like I say on my info page, I believe God gives these to me, and I enjoy sharing them- especially with deep thinkers!

Thank you for your wonderful comment on my poem “Marked moments” and the applause as well.. Sorry for the delay in replying. Your poem here “Though It Seems” is so uplifting. So many “spiritual” poems get to be so saccharine sweet, they lose impact. The rhyming works well and has a simple easy flow to it. An Excellent Poem. Blessings and best wishes, ~richard
